[Heathkit] HW-101 stuck in TX on CW

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your suggestions! It wasn't the VOX or the relay this time. I
just found the problem. After chasing the problem in the rig for quite some
time, I found that the problem was actually in the power supply (HP-23C), in
the bias voltage circuit. One of the 40uF/150V capacitor was bad. After
replacing it with two caps from broken CFL bulbs everything worked fine
again.

I had a similar problem in the past with my HW-100. It turned out that the
VOX controls were mis-adjusted. The anti-trip was set too high, which
required a high setting for the vox sensitivity control. The result was that
the VOX  would hang up or oscillate.  You might also check for a sticking
relay.
