[Heathkit] Play Solomon...kinda

My SB-301 is in the garage, along with all the other equipment on my main console.  The garage is heated (when I turn on the gas heater) but is not air conditioned.  Summers here in Texas can get hot and the radio shack does get warm, at times, during the summer.

Hi Glen,

I don't know why, but my SB-301 requires a bit of re-twaeking every 6 months or so---could be because the shack is in the basement here...?

I, too, built a converter to cover 160 for mine, allowing it to receive Topband in the 40-meter band---in fact, ELECTRIC RADIO published my article on it some years ago.

Works great!
