[Heathkit] Mica caps in Hearth DX 100 VFO

Thanks for the replies and suggestions but am still having trouble calibrating and band  spreading the tuning range. Has anyone with 50 to 60 year old VFO had to replace the Mica caps in the frequency determining section of the VFOs? I have three Viking 122 VFOs and , a   and a DX 100B plus DX 100 and seferal VF1 VFOs and wonder if they all will nee new Mica caps to work right and be dependable?
