[Heathkit] FA: Heathkit TENER on that place

Calculating the coast to coast shipping - I used my old QTH in NJ to my new
QTH in NV - the cost for shipping this package by Priority mail (not in a
USPS box), assuming 11 lbs total weight , with packing, and not an oversize
box, is $33.86. If you use a USPS Priority code C box the flat rate is
$45.02. This rig does not fit into one of the lower price flat rate boxes.
If you go parcel post, the cost is $18.18. All the above is WITHOUT
insurance or delivery proof, pickup, etc. If you go UPS, the cost would be
$22.91.
The above does not factor in cost of operating one's vehicle to get to and
from the post office or UPS stop, or boxes, or packing, or one's TIME. Not
to mention the eBay fees. Bry's estimated shipping cost is certainly in
line, and as he stated, he adjusts the ship cost to one's location.
Further, Bry is one of the most reputable guys in this line of selling old
radios. I have no qualms about buying anything from him, and have done so.
My $0.02

Somebody didn't notice that the starting price dropped by $90.00 - oh well.
They should try
shipping anything across the country to the west coast these days, or paying
eBay fees of
several hundred dollars a month. I have already told several inquirers that
the shipping will be
adjusted to their actual location... so long as their callsign doesn't end
in "5MO" then it will be
doubled. :)
