[Heathkit] SB-200 PTT interface

Hello all,

while in the process of adapting an SB-200 for operation with a modern
semiconductor transceiver I connected a semiconductor relay to switch the
negative grid and relay voltage. Unfortunately none of my relays worked.
These are relays with an activation dc voltage between 3 to 30 V and a
switching capability of 240 V ac (2 A minimum). Have no idea why this does
not work, even though there are comparable circuits in the net. Any hint?
