[Heathkit] 1625 matched pair? (was 807 vs 1625 as DX-100B modulator)

Theoretically, yes, a "matched pair" should be better in a push-pull arrangement.

However, in practice, I doubt that many, if any, people can tell the difference.  Heath definitely did not supply "matched pairs" with the DX-100 or DX-100B.

modulator tubes rather than just pulling two off the shelf and putting them in?
