[Heathkit] 1625 matched pair? (was 807 vs 1625 as DX-100B modulator)

Id look for a NIB pair of the same brand and that should be more than 
sufficient. I sure doubt Heath did any matching and may have even mixed 
brands.

The 811/572B uses a 4 pin socket.
