I meant to throw in the HX-10 in the comparison of the features but I worded
my note poorly. Thanks for the correction.
Now when you start talking controlled carrier vs plate modulation AM you are
going to get a topic thread as long as your arm.

The TX-1 requires the SB-10 just like the DX-100 to do SSB. It is NOT
built in.
