What does the meter show in the grid position?

Are you sure that the VFO is putting out on the correct frequency?  The fundamental is 3500 kHz to 4000 kHz on the 80-meter position, on various 7 MHz frequencies on the 40 through 10-meter bands, and in 8 MHz ranges on the 6 and 2-meter bands.
