[Heathkit] Harbor Freight Sale - Little red DMM (Greg Mijal)

A few years back, there was an article in QST about a HAM who had converted 
a GE brand DVM to an SWR device, or power or something like that.

Has anyone modified one of the Harbor Freight cheapies to something useful 
for RF or QRP or whatever they would care to share?  I'd be interested, as 
I'm sure others would be.  At $3, if you chop one up for extra plugs or 
switches, no big deal, eh?
