[Heathkit] Heathkit Digest, Vol 85, Issue 4

My little SG-8 signal generator has a vernier reduction drive built into 
the tuning capacitor. However, age and lack of use can cause the 
lubricant to stiffen and the vernier drive to freeze, allowing no 
tuning  rate reduction. Are you sure that your reduction drive is working?
