[Heathkit] Sb101 dial disaster

Or find someone near you that knows how to fix it.
The Heathkit SB line of units is one of the better early SSB units. Even a
Collins can give you fits. Plus being expensive.
For operation I like my SB-301/SB-401 twins better than my Drake 4 twins.
But there are things I can hear on the Drake R4A that I cannot hear on the
SB-301.
There is an eBay seller that parts out Heath transceivers. It's worth the
investment to buy a new main tuning disc and the small shaft and discs for
the reticule adjustment. Buy them and put them away for emergencies.
My Benton Harbor S-Line twins beat my Kenwood TS-520!
