[Heathkit] DX-100 - 0A2 replaced with 0B2?

The VFO in the DX-100 is basically the same as the Heath VF-1.  Replacing the 0A2 screen voltage regulator with an 0B2 virtually always helps with the stability.  If you take the 0A2 that was used in the screen circuit and use it to regulate the plate voltage then that helps even more with the stability.

The 0A2 VR tube in my DX-100B was replaced by a previous owner with a
(lower-voltage) 0B2 (150V vs 108V).

Do any of you know of an aftermarket modification that involved doing that?

I've gone back to the 0A2 and it seems a little more stable.
