[Heathkit] DX-100B on Phone - bad audio distortion /oscillation

I have three DX-100 units, 2 plain model 1 "B" model.
Never had some of the problems I am reading here on the
list. I also have 2 Apache transmitters, again no problems.

We used to have a saying, "Make it like the drawing"
Which later morphed into "M.I.L.T.F.D-J.1."
I listen to lots of folks on the air complaining about their
rigs not doing what the modification sheet said it would do
after the "Mods". I get good audio reports, have consistent
RF output levels, and the rig runs just fine, "No Mods, None needed"!

If it works "DON'T fix it!"
