[Heathkit] Heath SB-1000 question

Walt,

You'd be amazed by the number of "mis-built" Heathkit equipment that's 
out and about!

I've found quite a few of them.  I've found ONE TX-1 Apache that was 
built correctly.  Every other one I've acquired since that one has been 
done incorrectly.

The only mods I've ever done on one is to add negative feedback to the 
beasty.  That is one thing that the engineers didn't seem to consider.

I've also done a "little" audio modification to make them NOT be the 
"Scratchy" Apache.
