Fella's

Fed Ex is ENDORSED by several well known boatanchor restoration GURU's. They ship and receive more delicate boatanchor packages in a few months than most of us do in a lifetime. They also echo the criticism of UPS we are seeing here. It is well founded criticism. the stories are based on facts and real events.

Easy solution - DO NOT USE UPS.

I have used FedEx, UPS, and USPS for shipping and recieved boatanchors in the recent past.

FedEx is GREAT and number ONE -- ACROSS THE BOARD

For smaller stuff USPS Priority w/Delivery Confirmation is fast and efficient. I ship and receive vacuum tubes via USPS Priority all the time - never a problem.

UPS - well, as we used to say on the boats - "they suck bilge water!" - and I will continue to publicly criticize them until they acknowledge their lousy third world type service and strive to improve it - They have cost me (and my employer) precioous time and money. They have damaged shipments incoming and outgoing. My employer - a large defense contractor -cancelled their UPS contract in January 2010 !!!

We ship delicate electronics used by customers such as NASA - we can't tolerate such nonsense.

Fella's - Vote with your dollars - use FedEx or USPS Priority.
