[Heathkit] Dumb speaker question

Wayne,
An SB-310 or an SB-102 "SHOULD" receive as well as an FT-101 or a TS-520.
An alignment would be beneficial, HOWEVER, you'll most likely also find
resistors and some capacitors have gone significantly out of spec.
It will be a dual effort. I'd suggest first checking component values,
especially the resistors, before performing an alignment.
I moved from an SB-102 in 1981 directly to a Kenwood TS-900, (Antique!),
and an FT-101E. I could not tell the difference in receive.
