The AT-1 wasnt known as an example of efficiency Chris.
The 6L6 and other beam tubes will have a blue glow on the glass, this is
normal due to the interaction of the electron stream and impurities in
the glass
Gas will be seen inside the plate cylinder and in Class C CW is usually
not a bother unless it is bad enough to cause internal arcing.
