[Heathkit] AT-1 question

Thanks alot Bob, I was vaguely familiar with Kanzius, but have
extensively studied the works of Royal R. Rife, who invented a
microscope that could see viruses in the 20's, isolated the cancer
virus, typhus, etc. then used a MOPA transmitter having a coolidge
tube as the capacitative element in a hartley oscillator output stage,
and directed the output to cancer patients and cured all of them. He
isolated a dozen other pathogens and found what he called the MOR, the
mortal oscillatory rate for each. He also created a sort of
"periodic table" of pathogens, analogous to Mendeleev's table. of
elements. I came into possession of one of his original later
instruments back in 2005. Rife ought have won a Nobel. Henry
Moray too.

Rife was railroaded by AMA, who doesn't WANT cancer cured. The
system makes too much money from it, about $ 400 B annually. A
decent book describing this is "The Cancer Industry" by Ralph Moss,
PhD, I think he is a former NIH executive. Same pattern present
relative to true working remedies provided by a dozen or so others,
whose names you've never heard, like Naessens, Hoxsey, Ozel, Gerson,
Krebs, Rath. Ever notice how they're always trying to scare
everybody ? Boooo !!

Today's medical industry trains the students in the medical colleges
to "treat" symptoms, not cure disease nor prevent. It's not the
people that are at fault, rather, the system, which itself is
structured to generate more cash by not providing cures, rather
"treating" symptoms. I have studied cures for years and consider
myself an expert in healing.

More on Royal Rife at the link below; I'd start with the John Marsh
link. Someone ought to have told these guys about impedance matching.

I've checked everything four times over on that AT-1, except the
obvious, for which I deserve a kick - I didn't change the tubes.
There's gas in the output tube, evidenced by visible ionization when
keyed. Pondering putting an 8950 in place of that 6L6, just because
I have one and need to quell this cash bleed.

What I don't get, on the AT-1 schematic, is how the RF gets to the
coils ; looks like inductive coupling by proximity to other coils on
the same form, but only air core there and adjacent coils are axially
disposed , not co-wound. From the tank, through a selector switch,
to another coil, then inductively coupled to another smaller coil,
through a selector and finally out the window. Seems inefficient,
but I must assume I'm missing something.

thanks,

Chris
