I've been very interested by all the comments regarding Heathkit manuals.
It's been one of the most informative topics discussed on here.

To me, what has been interesting is studying and analyzing these comments.
You can see who is bright, who isn't, who adds 2 plus 2 and gets 4 or gets 5
for an answer. You can see what side they take, and then you can study why
they took that side or take on the situation based on their past life
experience and how did it influence their feelings on the matter. You can
see who is practical and who isn't. You can see who gets HOT and who is
CALM regarding all this. You can see who are the List Police. You can
notice how many are silent on the subject and how few actually are posting,
etc. You can study the merits and non merits of buying what this buyer
bought or did not buy. You can analyze the content of the provided
"document". Analyzing the posts are more interesting then the topic itself.

Out of all this you get some education in psychology, human nature, the law,
and a lesson in business sense. All this for FREE.
