[Heathkit] BAMA and Heathkit docs???

Hi Tom, Carl, and all,

First no flames just a suggestion. I know it's to late for the Heathkit
manuals but maybe someone should take up the cause to research out who owns
the copyrights to Johnson, Eico, Hammurland, etc. I would guess if the
proper owners were found the permission to scan and reproduce manuals
without any charge could be agreed upon for almost any of these equipment
manufacturers.

The Collins Collectors Association did just that with Rockwell Collins
almost 10 years ago. Since the original agreement was signed some additions
have been added to it. One of those was the Collins Broadcast equipment that
is becoming more popular along with the broadcast consoles and other related
equipment.

However you will have to have someone that is dedicated to scanning and
archiving these files.

Just my thoughts. I have done my part and don't need any more workload
however I would be happy to scan any of the various manuals that I have in
the general amateur line that I have. Some Gonset, Harvey Wells, RME, etc.

That would give
