Thanks for the help on the Heathkit SB-610. I had sure forgotten about the
blocking capacitor, but will definitely put that inline. My vintage Heathkit
station is starting to come together!

I recently got a Heathkit SB-610 Monitor Scope that needed repair. I
replaced all the capacitors and several resistors that had changed in value.
Now the scope is working great on ssb & cw transmit with my Heathkit
SB-102/SB-200.

I read an article online from a January 1968 Radio Communication for the
SB-610 that said for receiver monitoring it is preferable to connect a lead
to the anode or plate of the last IF amplifier to take advantage of the gain
to obtain maximum display of small signals. According to the SB-102 manual
the 2nd IF amplifier is V4 (6AU6) and pin 5 is the plate.

I don't want to toast the scope just as I have got it working again. Any
thoughts on how well this will work or does the SB-610 work okay monitoring
the receiver?
