[Heathkit] Me and My SB 230 are needing HELP

Bill,

Unless I missed it, you failed to say if the condition exists while
loading and operating into a 50 ohm dummy load. Carl could be correct
when he suspects AC getting into the relay. I had that problem with a
SB-230 some years back and found that it worked fine into a dummy load,
but acted up when switched to the antenna. I was getting RF (AC) into
the relay coil. I ultimately found that I had antenna problems instead
of amp trouble.

Hope this helps.
