[Heathkit] monitor scopes

Thge biggest liability of the SB-614 as I remember, is the lack of a two tone internal test signal generator. To REALLY properly use a trapezoidal pattern test scope requires a two tone oscillator!

Once you use an SB-610/HO-10 to set tuning and loading up, it beats the hell out of trying to tune up by meter readings! Makes for a very stout and very clean sounding signal thru any big linear amplifier.

G'day all, can anyone comment on the relative merits of the SB-610 and SB-614 monitor scopes? As far as I can tell, the major difference is that the SB-614 runs off audio while the SB-610 needs an IF connection. But there may be other things to be aware of.any comments from users of either or both would be most welcome.
