[Heathkit] 6293 tube question

OK, I'll asked a question that some will think is dumb.  But, is the
6239 a direct replacement for 6146's?  Might be nice to know if I ever
get my 101 back.

However, the mica insulator that covers the top of the elements is opaque and therefore it cannot be seen.
