[Heathkit] SB-104/A large signal capability

Hello to the list,

since I got only one response and did not get the posting myself here
it comes again:

There is certainly a number of operational SB-104s around. Originally
this radio suffers a lot from intermodulation distortion. So the A
version changed from dual gate mosfet mixers to diode ring mixers.
Anyway large signal capability is very poor due to some design
deficiencies. I modified my restored rig to an extend that even in
Europe with strong shortwave BCers operation is successfully possible.
