The Chinese made 572B tubes (and this includes Cetron
these days) often have problems when operated in the
horizontal positions as in the SB-200. The elements
"sag" and the tubes "short out" often taking some of
the power supply components with them.

The Russian built tubes seem to work fine in the
SB-200.
