[Heathkit] SB-200 6m Mod

There are a lot of cheap tubes that work well on 6M. The 4-125A, 4-250 and
4-400 come to mind as ones that are often freebies. Same with the 4CX250
series.
There have been circuits in the ARRL Handbook as well as various VHF manuals
of the past using those tubes. My very first 6M amp ran a 4-400A grid driven
with a homebrew transverter running 10-15W. That was in 1964.
You can also find SB-200's for $200 or less that have good tubes but have a
blown bandswitch, need PS caps, etc. I purchased 2 that way last month off
Ebay for around $150 each. The SB-200 is like a Model A Ford, easy to fix
and parts are everywhere.
