[Heathkit] SB-200 6m Mod

I have been reading through all the mod info for putting the SB-200 amp on 6m in the 10m position and keeping the rest of the HF bands intact.  Seems like there is a lot of differences between each persons mod.  Is there a definitive version of this mod that everyone would recommend?  The main thing to me is cost and avoiding damage to the amp.  I don't want to cut it up or butcher it just to use it on 6.
