I consider my SA-2060A a real functional, efficient, and attractive
workhorse. I bought mine as a partially finished unbuilt kit..that was
missing many parts. This was from a Silent Key's estate K3YU, an ole
RTTY buddy of mine in the early 80s. For that reason, it has even more
value to me.
Fortunately, HEATHKIT was still in business (enough) to be able to
supply with me A L L of the missing pieces - and some of them were
very very expensive, but I had the pleasure of finishing the kit. I
like it even better than my SA-2500 Auto Tuner which is more
sophisticated but lumbers around too much for me as it searches for the
best match.

I'm looking for comments regarding the quality of the Heathkit
SA-2060 antenna tuner. I want to know if there were any bugs with it and
how well it stood up to handling high power all on all bands. I did a
search on google but couldn't find anything either good or bad on it.
Also what is the approximate going price for those units in excellent
condition?
Many thanks from Fern VE7GZ
