[Heathkit] DX-100

Before you go replacing them all, might you not want to apply the necessary
voltages to the VFO section, if possible. Then determine if the components
need replacing. I have been running DX-100s for a while, the only one I
found
with a problem had a cracked wafer on the vfo band switch. Others had minor
things like an unsoldered ground lug connection, and a cap that was
effectively
grounded at both ends, leads were excessively long. Sigh, these things
happened
back then, most probably the haste of wanting to get the thing on the air!
That would be my first job, to check it for operation at all.
Heathkit made a nice power supply that would run the thing stand-alone
with just a few jumper leads. FWIW.
