Hi

	I've got a SB104A that also had less than desirable receive audio. Made
lots of changes with very little results. Volume was never an issue. The mod
that corrected mine to VERY pleasing audio was suggested by Bill Carver,
W7AAZ. I set the BFO carrier frequencies at the -20 dB points of the SSB
crystal filter. (The BFO carrier frequencies are the same as your radio.)
Might want to give it a try, the TX audio is also much improved.........
