Interesting, thanks for posting.
W0SR is correct in his review, the thumbwheels are stiff and a bit of a pain
to use.
He is also correct on the use of an audio filter with narrow IF filters
(OMNI-VI+ has cascaded 250Hz filters). The audio filter cleans up spurious
noise that adds to operator fatigue.
