Since I like to operate CW I found this thread very interesting so I went
looking for the Super SCAF. Based on a quick first search, it could be very
hard to find the original. A review of the Super SCAF-1 on eHam.net by W0SR
in March '03, referred to the fact that Idiom Press is making a new version.
The reviewer checked it out and made direct box to box, signal to signal,
etc., comparisons and found the new one easier to use and just as effective,
if not more so. HMMM. I checked it out on this site
(http://www.idiompress.com/scaf-1.html) and will likely be ordering...
I have no interest in this outfit except making listening to
CW on my SB-301 even more pleasant.

If you can find one, the Super SCAF by Aftronics is a great audio filter.
Thumbwheel switches allow you to adjust the HP and LP frequencies.
Bandwidth is from AM to very narrow CW.
A 2W audio amplifier is built in.
