[Heathkit] SB-102 Tuning Knob Mechanism

Hi To All and Happy Holidays!

My recently aquired SB-102 has an anomaly at the main
tuning knob. The tuning responds only when I pull out
on it... When I push it in, the tuning goes slightly
in the reverse direction.  Any ideas? Many thanks in
