[Heathkit] Fellows SB-401 now working need more information on SB-303???

After 5 more hours and a recheck of all the wires to relay I have the SB401  
at full output and good wave form.
 
However, the SB-303 still has no ears.
I go to the receive only band and can see deflection on stations.
You can't even here speaker hiss.
 
If I hook up an external speaker to the SB-303 I get audio on the OPR.  
setting of the function switch and on the STBY setting of function  switch.
I can transmit and receive in locked and unlocked.
 
If I go through the SB-401 I get no audio output on STBY or OPR on function  
switch but, the 
S meter shows deflection from received stations.
 
Kind of tells me it is in the Transmitter not the receiver.
 
I am going to check the cables again tomorrow for continuity as  follows:
TRANSMITTER RCVR AUDIO to RECEIVER  SPEAKER.
TRANSMITTER RCVR MUTE to RECEIVER MUTE.
 
I will also check V12 and wiring at those points mentioned.
 
If any of you have any suggestions as to where else to look let me  know.
 
Oh, and that relay was a bear to work on I will try to make a  plug in type 
that I can mount some where else in the rig if it goes bad in  the future.
