[Heathkit] HR-10B is a nice Ham Receiver

I've been meaning to setup the Heath HR-10/DX-60/HG-10 station for a long time, so this weekend I moved the rigs from the back shelf to the shack. I had the HR-10B hooked up and listening to 80,40, and 20 meters for a while on Saturday. I continue to be impressed at that receiver because its stable on 80,40,20 meters, yields nice sounding cw (and SSB), has fairly good tuning, seems sensitive, has some selectivity (meaning I didn't hear signals 6 Khz up and down the band). I think the HR-10B is an actual ham receiver and not some POS, albeit at the low end of the performance end :)))))
Alignment was way off so I opened it up and ran through the alignment. Gee, rig aligns nicely and appears to be very sensitive! I'm not sure of the accuracy of the output meter on the URM-25, but I was hearing signals while the generator was in the .1X scale - don't recall the meter readings though.
I felt guilty as I replaced the top and bottom cover WITHOUT replacing the electrolytics :))))))
I looked in the 1966 Heath catalog and did NOT recall seeing a matching speaker for the HR-10.
