Sounds familiar.........
I had 10 feet of coax and 100ft of extension cord............
My first 6M QSO was from the garage roof.
but my DX with the SIX'er was about 10 miles........
didn't matter, my mother thought something happened......I was whooping and
holler'in from the roof......
