[Heathkit] 28.635 Sig

The signal has been around for years.  I thought it was a birdy on my Yaesu
riceboxes
but its heard on all my receivers.  Varies from S5 to S9 and moves slightly
up and down in frequency.  Norcross, GA  Grid EM73VX

On my last trip to St. Simons Island, GA I heard the signal on two receivers
there using my 80 meter loop skywire.  S 3 to S5 EM91

I agree that it may be something common to electronics we all have such as
cable boxes.  Its not colorburst as I hear them around 28620
and much weaker.

It was so loud that a big contest multi op station in W2 reported it to ARRL
Intruder watch a dozen years ago.  Guess it was on a rare Dx stations
frequency.
