ok so I decided to whip up a couple more responses, I don't recall if
this reflector will take attachments, so here's everything compliled in
one big e-mail:

There's what sounds like a steady carrier on 28.634(6 +-). The only
reason I bring this up is that it's so constant, and there's stations
all over the country reporting it on the Heathkit reflector. I'm
running a Tentec omni-D with a 5 band coil loaded vertical, not a real
hot antenna but it works. It's about s4 now in south east MN.

Just found it interesting, 73 de KC0NPF

Very weak here in FL but seems to peak at 330 degrees. A wobbly tone with
what sounds like 2 zero beat spots. Zero beats at 28.636 and 28.637.

>From NW FL. it is strong in sound but weak in signal strength on my 756
pro with pre amp off. Strongest signals come from about 220 degrees,
S-3. Pre Amp position #1 S-7. Mac

Still hearing the carrier after 6 hours of monitoring. After sun-down, made
no difference, now a solid S 4 1/2 so propagation does not seem to change.
Normally before sundown, all 10 meter sigs disappear (except local ones).

I'm hearing it here in KY, S4 at 6:40PM. It almost sounds like low speed
data. The only explanation for the wide coverage and constant strength is:

ITS FROM OUTER SPACE.

I just fed the audio into my computer and am using "Space Decoder" to decode
it. It seems to be saying something like "need planet....food....kill all
earthlings"

BTW: In all seriousness, I've been hearing a steady carrier on 80m at
3521.00khz for 2 weeks now. My buddy down in SC can also hear it at about
the same strength.

I thought it said "To Serve Man"

Just hope it's not a cookbook...

Note: I didn't edit any of these, so that explaines the goofy ones.
