My guess is that's it's aliens and they got close enough to take one good
look at us, then kicked it back into hyperdrive and ran away screaming!

Ah, this afternoon the 28.636 (it's up one) has dropped to S2 with QSB
taking it down to S1.  Long ways from the S9 it was this morning.  And now,
as I type this, it has dropped to below S1.  Still audible, but no s-meter
reading. 

Guess the spaceship passed by without stopping. 

Maybe it's from the big asteroid that's going to pass reasonably close to
our planet in a few years.  Like maybe it's the anti-collision system?
