[Heathkit] Heath HP-23 question

I have a HP 23 with a toggle switch for LV-off-HV. On the SB 101 which
setting do I use? And on a SB-102 which setting do I use?
Also,  can someone please tell me why the newer HP 23 power supply has
an option for voltage levels. And the old version HP 23 did not.
