[Heathkit] Nobody Has Answers?

The original mike and the replacement both show the same problem, no modulation.
Hence, not likely to be the mike.

I checked back to see what you stated in your earlier email. You say the
mike works: wired correctly and PTT works fine. But, do you know if the
mike cartridge is good?
