[Heathkit] DX-100 vs DX-100B

Hello group, been looking to build a nice AM station, and I've recently acquired a very nice Heathkit DX-100 and before restoring it to operating condition would like to know some information about it.  First...what is the difference between the DX-100 and the DX-100B    Second...there seems to be a ton of mods available for it, don't know even where to start with those...so was hoping the group might inform me which you guys think would be the most useful, would like to improve audio, etc.  Thanks in advance..73  Tim K8WBL
