the problem stems from people assuming that everyone will do it "their =
way". people are afraid to ask "what if ups denies the claim" "you are =
the shipper will you refund my money if ups denies YOUR claim" will you =
double box?" gentlemen, would you hand $1000 to a person in a parking =
lot and "wait while i return with your watch"?. why would anyone send =
money to a stranger and not protect yourself ? i have never had =
problems with ups because the shipper and i have always gone to great =
lengths prior to me sending money, to cover ALL OF THE "WHAT IFS" and =
what HE will do if things go wrong. ask up front. no surprises on the =
back end. ups has always paid claims when they have damage items in a =
properly packed double box. AND AND AND. i always take items to ups =
OPEN , ask them to inspect and ok the packing, and i also get the =
inspectors signature directly at ups. not a ups store or drop shipper. =
