Top of the New Year!!
I have been searching for alignment information regarding the SB line of LMO's and have not had any luck. There does not seem to be any documentation that exists, at least to my knowledge. Therefore, I've decided to make a project of completely dismantling a dead unit in order create a schematic that I will share with the heathkit
community. The idea is to sacrifice an old unit (hopefully, I can get both a solid state
and tube version of the LMO for this project) and completely reverse engineer the little
devil. I keep hearing about how 'complicated' these units are, but I am believing that
they are not all that special. I believe that heathkit was simply trying to protect their
design back in there heydey from being stolen.
Anyway, I am requesting that if anyone wants to donate (at a very cheap price) an LMO or two for this effort, it would be most appreciated. Once I put a schematic together, I will post it on the BAMA site. I will attempt to come up with alignment information, assuming that I am successful and post that as well.
Thanks for listening...
Jim
