Interesting that this reply was sent to me. I wasn't the one that
stated the problem was "easily fixed". I did expect a flame for my
opinion though.

Have you sent an email to the software companies yet? The more I think
of this the more clear it is. They produced a product that has trouble
dealing with the real world. You now ask the real world to try to change
to suit the poorly written software.
