Agreed! "Matching" is pretty limiting if you insist on
_absolute_ equality. The Drakes "match", and I believe
the Heath 300/400 series, but I'm hard pressed to come up
with any others that "match" under that stringent criteria.
Almost certainly nothing before 64-65 "matched".
Companion it is!
