[Heathkit] sb-310

I have a sb-310 that has been aliened according to the manual. what I am =
noticing is that the sensitivity seems to less from 31 meters and up. It =
seems to be pretty sensitive but it is much better 40 meters on down.  =
Is this normal?  Dan
