[Heathkit] AT-1 VFO to xtal input comments needed

I don't think that hum will be a problem. However, the coax will
introduce some capacitance in parallel with the crystal which may shift
its frequency slightly and may affect stability (i.e.: chirp). You'll
have to try it an listen for any ill effects on a receiver. You may want
to try a low capacitance coax like RG-62/U.
You should have received the crystal socket and octal socket from me by
now. I hope they arrived this time!
